I started my undergraduate medical training at the University of Pretoria in 1995 and graduated in 2000. I first developed a passion for obstetrics and gynaecology in my internship in 2001. I worked in the United Kingdom to broaden my experience and worked as a senior house officer in obstetrics and gynaecology in Kettering General Hospital, West Middlesex University Hospital and Lewisham Hospitals.
Upon returning to South Africa I completed my community service in Limpopo Province and commenced my registrar training time in the University of the Witwatersrand Academic Hospitals. Upon completion of my training time I worked as a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist in Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital.
I then commenced in private practice at Netcare Unitas Hospital in 2018.
